Alison Hatcher, Curator of the McLean County Arts Center in Bloomington, IL, will visit campus on Thursday and Friday, February 16-17, 2006. On Thursday, she will present a seminar for faculty and students, giving a brief overview of her career and a selected review of exhibitions she has curated at McLean County Arts Center.

Her lecture will offer practical advice on planning and applying for exhibitions: including tips on preparing work for exhibition, researching museum and galleries, submitting materials (c.v., artist statements, images of work), pricing work, and maintaining records of exhibitions and sales.
