Facilities
The facilities of the Program in Art Education are school-wide
with most classes taking place in Allyn 102. Quigley (Hall)
offers a graphic computing center with cutting edge technology
for the arts. Allyn 102 is a general purpose studio classroom
that serves both lecture and studio programs. A substantial
stock of art materials appropriate to the public school teaching
of art are maintained for course offerings. We currently have
over 300 reproductions of art historical works, and a growing
library of current journals and periodicals in art, art education,
and professional education available for browsing. Drying racks
and large display areas are part of this space.
Technology
Quigley Hall graphics computing laboratory provides a myriad
of opportunities for electronic artistic expression, electronic
lesson planning, distance learning, and multimedia presentation.
