The Southern Illinois University of Carbondale department of Glass offers a wide variety of opportunity for students wishing to expand both their knowlege of the glass arts, and also of the fine arts world in general.

Both BFA and MFA programs are available through the SIUC glass department. Hard work, dedication, and creativity are integral parts of the educational philosophy of this program.

The Glass department offers a wide variety of experience, and a wide array of facilities. In addition to a broad spectrum of traditional glass making equipment, SIUC is proud to opperate a fully-functional mobile glass blowing unit, affectionately named Aunt Gladys. The mobile unit is available to come to your nearby town or berg!
