The Design Barracks provides the central location for coursework and classroom space for Communication Design and Industrial Design courses. This steel building is home to our design students and houses the design faculty offices from both specializations. The building has a large shop staffed by student employees and available to all design students, a photo room with backdrops and lighting, a student design gallery, a large design student lounge and activities room, junior and senior level studio rooms with individual spaces, Wi-Fi throughout, recent classroom upgrades, and a small lab with large format scanning and printing capabilities.
